The Atisha Centre, Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery and the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion Bendigo, Australia jointly hosted a month of Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s precious teachings during April 2011. Shantideva’s Bodhicaryavatara - the Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life was taught during weeks one and two, followed by preparation for the transmission of the rare Rinjung Gyatsa Initiations during weeks three and four.
We are pleased to announce that Rinpoche will return from September 25th - October 23rd, 2014 to continue this program.
Transcripts and downloads from 2011 are available through the FPMT website. For guidelines to access the teachings, please go to: http://www.fpmt.org/announcements.html
The CPMT meeting will also be held at the Great Stupa in the week of September 13th - 19th.
Further information and bookings will be available from this website in coming months. Bookings will not be possible until early 2014 as many arrangements must be made before we can advertise options. However, please click here to register your interest in attending either CPMT or the Retreat.
have been in discussions with Australian Immigration regarding visas
for those who wish to attend the retreat from countries that have visa
restrictions in place (e.g., China, Mongolia, Russia, etc.).
There appears to be a visa you can apply for that may allow you to come for the entire retreat and/or CPMT meeting and retreat.
More information will be available on this website after registrations open in January.
